SOPHIE (was WINNIE)

Winnie came into rescue from her original home where she had been as a puppy. We were not able to get her AKC background but she is approximately 3 years old, 45 lbs, tailed docked, dews off. She was raised around other dogs and kids. The family tried to sell her, and then to give her away, but she was brought back as too vocal and wanting to be with people. She has been hunted, loves water, and loves to fetch.

July 2007: Well, her new family of course thinks that other folks were crazy to not keep this wonderful girl. So to go with her new life she got a new name. Sophie is house trained, gets to go out to sidewalk cafes for coffee, loves car rides, and loves the whole wide world.

Feb 2008: Mark and I are finally getting around to sending more pictures of Sophie. We are still enjoying her very much and can't imagine what we ever did before we got her! And yes, she sleeps in the bed with us. She is VERY spoiled! Enjoy!
