LILLY

Lilly is a 14 month old active playful girl. She loves to wrestle with the big boys and cuddle in the chair with mom. She came into rescue via a free to a good home ad in the paper. She is spayed, micro chipped, and up to date on shots. Her tail is docked correctly, dews removed. Lilly does not display the hunting drive the previous owner wanted so I would not place here in a home where hunting is a wanted essential. She was previously a kennel dog so is learning house manners. She is still very much a puppy so likes toys and to chew when she can. Lilly likes to chase a tennis ball but coming back is not always in her mind. She is still too thin at present and we are trying to talk her into eating more. Lilly can be shy and approaches people submissively but she comes around quickly so it is a matter of letting her have all the experiences of a normal life and she should be fine. A home with another dog would be ideal as she takes confidence from the pack.

Update Nov: Lilly got to select her new parents when they came to visit the dogs available for adoption. Lilly, being the cautious girl that she is had to make sure that there were proper treats being offered, nice belly rubs, and gentle hands to coax her. It did not take long and when they returned the next day she was all wiggles and smiles waiting at the gate for them to take her home. Lilly gets to play in the great outdoors of Sun Valley and should you see a red streak on the golf course, flying over the snow -- say hello. Or if you meet her hiking the trails, cross country skiing or visiting around town -- that's our girl. Take good care of Lilly and we are sure she will take good care of those pesky birds!
