HARRY
Harry is an approx. 4 yo male, 66 lbs of fun, 24" tall, tail docked correctly, dews off. Harry came into rescue from a family who had to move into an apartment and was not allowed to keep two dogs. Harry had been with them only about 1.5 years and so they decided to re-home him and keep their older female V. Harry originally came from a UT breeder who kept him outside in a kennel and he was sold when he was about 2.5. Harry is pretty amazing given all the changes so far in his life. He is well mannered, knows sit, down, shake, is not a big chewer, barker, or digger. Harry is house and leash trained and does well off leash as well. He gets along well with other dogs and ignores cats. He was hunted over some but was more interested in following the humans than the birds. Harry did well with the kids in his former home.
Dec 2007: Harry packed his bags and moved to the mountains to play and hike. He now has a older V sister in Zoe, and two humans to take him out running the trails. He also has many other doggie friends and several of those are V's as well. His new mom reports that Harry and Zoe are best buddies. Each has adopted their own chair in the house and are happy to hang out while mom is at work. Harry got to hike over Christmas with a pack of 5 Vizsla -- we bet he was the biggest and sweetest dog in the crowd. Enjoy the rare air up there and don't wear out your welcome by trying to woo the girls too much!!
